During a planned maintenance outage at a power station in Kentucky, Ranger was hired to complete the critical path job of the outage: rebuilding the limestone mill and installing a newly fabricated, 30-foot stainless steel pipe, leading down to the mill. While rebuilding, the outage team at the power station saw the need to rebuild the rotating assembly as well.
Without changing the schedule of the outage, Ranger replaced the rollers, set the seals, completed a coupling inspection, torqued all bolts to specification, and performed shaft alignment.
