For this project, Ranger was hired to engineer, fabricate, and install an elbow change-out of the SCR duct at a coal-fired plant in Northern Kentucky.

The fabrication process required the duct to be shipped in pieces to the site, where it was assembled and painted. In addition to engineering the new duct, Ranger developed and designed a lifting plan that used a two-crane pick, due to the size, weight, and location of the component.
